Building on its popular predecessor, Fundamentals of Canadian Nursing, 4th Canadian edition, (PDF) offers nursing students with a vital understanding of contemporary professional nursing practice in Canada. The 4th edition takes a comprehensive, less prescriptive approach to nursing diagnoses and encourages nurses and students to use their knowledge, experience, and critical thinking skills to make diagnoses or analyses.

Demonstrating a pan-Canadian experience, the lead editors enlisted contributors and reviewers from across Canada to show different geographical experiences. Praised for its accessible and clear language, beginning nurses learn fundamental and foundational knowledge and skills needed to enter the nursing profession in Canada.
